The campaign is set to recognise women efforts from various sectors in the community and remind them of self-confidence, self-esteem and self-reliance in achieving their goals.
Today, the Bottling Company women employees hosted an event at the Tandale Market together with the Tandale women food vendors famously known as “Mama Lishe” to mark the Women’s Day.

“It’s about celebrating women’s achievements and successes, and inspiring them that they too, can reach their goals and achieve great success,” said Ms. Msalilwa.
Msalilwa added that as responsible corporate citizens, they believed it was their responsibility to bring sustainable change in different sectors in which women of Tanzania operate hence the introduction of the campaign.
“I have already met great and amazing women in Tanzania, who are determined to break barriers and reach greater success,” he added.
Also speaking during the event, Stamil Gereza a representative from Tandale women food vendors, defined a woman as someone intelligent and independent.
She urged women to stop settling for less and start standing up for all the things they believe in despite the challenges that they might be facing.
